Market Postcards
Public art intervention, acrylic objects, site-specific installation
A series of 7 acrylic postcards placed around and inside the Petach Tikvah Market, turning the shuk into a small public gallery. Each piece reframes everyday details with subtle surreal shifts, creating small distortions inside a familiar, chaotic place.
Concept
Markets are made of repetition: gestures, sounds, signage, colors, routines. I took small details that feel “normal” and pushed them slightly out of place, so the space itself starts to feel newly readable.

What’s installed
7 acrylic postcards installed across the market
Each one acts like a “snapshot” of the shuk, but with a surreal twist
Designed to be discovered while walking through daily life
