Selected from a global open call, this piece was featured at The Screen 2026 during the OFFF Barcelona festival. Projected onto the iconic, angular facade of the Disseny Hub, the artwork transforms the museum's monumental architecture into a dynamic canvas, blending deep-space environments with organic, generative growth.
The animation plays with the building's asymmetrical geometry by initially dissolving its physical weight into a vast, starry expanse dotted with floating celestial elements.
At the center of the composition, a dark spherical void activates and rapidly evolves into a glowing, labyrinthine pattern—reminiscent of neural pathways, brain tissue, or coral growth. This organic core pulsates against the cold depths of space before erupting into a high-energy burst of light rays that slice across the building's structural lines. The piece ultimately resolves into the vibrant, multi-colored grid honoring the collaborative spirit of the artists involved.
