Modern Saint
Handmade aquatint aluminum etching print.

Aquatint is a printmaking technique, that engraves a plaque of aluminum, involving a long process of heating, acid dipping, asphalt, ink, paper, and etching. This repetition of exposing and covering areas when dipping the plaque in acid produces different tones and depths when the ink is applied and transferred to the paper with the help of a roller.

The "Modern Saint" Print, took part in the "Middle Ages" exhibition at the Teder.FM Gallery, Tel Aviv in September 2021.
